Born in Waco, Texas, Mr. Lopez came to Houston in 1989 to start a residential development and construction company. Mr. Lopez has been building homes in Harris County since 1995 and started residential developing in 2006. In addition to building and developing in Harris County, he also is developing land in South Texas.
Mr. Lopez has worked for several financial institutions since 1986, and in 1996 he founded ABC Mortgage Company; he is also a licensed Texas Mortgage Broker specializing in commercial finance.
In 2008, Mr. Lopez formed Portofino Home Builders, LP. Portofino Home Builders will build the next phase of Briargreen Terrace Patio Homes and Enclave at Briargreen Townhomes.
